Over time, several reasons have emerged, backing up why people adorn their skin with ink and with other forms of body piercings too. An independent mindset or being loyal to a certain religion or cultural race are two of the major reasons tattooing is common. The principles of applying tattoos are simple, they deal with injecting ink pigments onto the deeper layers of your skin via the use of pressure or needles. Other reasons, apart from the two listed above, are termed personal, which may be a form of beautifying the skin or keeping memories.

The ancient city of Egypt is known to make their women who are fertile and those that are of royal blood, or who are noble-born, receive tattoos on their skin. Though body piercings are not tattooing in itself, it’s regarded as a form of tattooing because it leaves marks on the skin even if it’s not erasable. It has a long-standing history and tattoos as methods of identifying the royals and noble blooded citizens of a race of people.
Socialism has evolved, before the computer era and technology age, ritual rites are held in traditional settings to initiate some principles. Some cities, societies have habits of applying ink on the body of their subjects to mark them out for specific purposes or initiate them into a system. In modern times, tattooing evolved to become a famous form of art, employed by lots of people, youths most especially, for personal reasons. People have tattoos on their skins for remembering certain moments or people they want to keep their memories safe, it’s a way of keeping the memories safe. Others have tattoos on their bodies, in different parts to enforce their profession, boxers, wrestlers, and other muscle-building professions are observed to do this.
Tattooing has a presence of defiance from the law or the socially acceptable norms of place or town, tattoos are seen as signs of gangsters in certain cities. It gives them a sense of belonging to a sect, having independence from where you’re coming from, and conforming to rules of where you’re heading to.
